This week I am sore! Been traveling a lot and able to get a short workout in. Here's my crazy action packed one hour workouts.
Wednedsay morning: Beach run with Trippple Threat and Bruiser Barbie at 7:30!
1. 2 mile loop with some short circuits for them while I barked orders. We ran intervals back from the pier for 3/4 of a mile. Good morning wake-up!
Wednesday afternoon: Intervals at the stadium and track in LA
1. 1 mile jog in 9 min
2. 70 stadium stairs x 2 (140 total steps) then a 150/200 meter sprint x 10 in 40 min
3. 800 meter jog, walk, crawl to the finish line- I was toast at the end!
4. 1400 steps total, 1500m sprint and a mile and a half jog warm-up/cool down
Thursday morning: Beach run with 6 am class to play Tennis Ball Madness in the sand!
1. 1/2 mile jog warm-up
2. 1/2 mile intervals back using the street and intersections as markers
Thursday afternoon: Isolated back and ab work at the park
1. 1.25 mile jog in 10.5 min
2. 15 inverted rows x 10 hanging abdominal leg raises to the head x 3 sets
3. 5 pull-ups x 15 straight leg raises with rotation or split straddle x 6 sets
4. Band work for back and scapular stabilization
Friday: Jumped in the junior olympic pool for intervals! I also started the Cutz powder- same one my Superstars are on.
1. 1 length of freestyle, backstroke, modified breast stroke and dolfin kick (4 lengths, 2 laps) x 6 sets
2. 12 pound medicine ball overhead swim with isolated leg kick, med ball right arm swim, med ball left arm swim, 2 lengths of backstroke, 1 length of kickboard isolated legs x 2 sets
3. Isolated legs and hips on the wall 25 reps 5 different exercises
4. Can-can, straight leg tuck jumps, front and back kick kickboxing x 20 reps each
5. Kickboard resisted leg isolation x 3 laps with flippers on - burn so good!
6. 1 length of freestyle, backstroke, modified breast stroke and dolfin kick (4 lengths, 2 laps) x 1 set
Saturday: Abs are still really sore! Today was an active recovery for me
1. yoga for an hour
2. Pull-up and hanging leg demo, 10-12 or each (not crazy enough to go all out again, I'll wait until tomorrow!)
Ahh, exercise so good!
