I've reached goal with WW three times and am a former leader. As mdefoor said, points do allow freedom and some of us (meaning me) used that freedom to do very unhealthy things whilst still remaining "on program". If you can follow the point system appropriately then it's not a bad way to lose!
I lost 80 lbs on ww but I moved to a new state and the meetings are too far away for me to go to conveniently. I love going to the meetings and listening to people's stories. I think I am more motivated when I have to be accountable.
I am thinking about doing weight watchers. Is it very expensive? I keep hearing how much weight people are losing on it. Is there a kit that I have to get?
I suppose you could join WW, but I think you will learn enough here and have enough one-on-one support to encourage you, at least, personally I have found that...WW can add up..I tried it bur not successfully. Good luck on whatever you decide!
I went to Weight Watchers through work. It was successful as long as I went, but it was successful because of friends at work. This web site give great support to loose weight. And it doesn't cost any money. I find the encouragement priceless.
